Itinerary
Gem of the Nile Tour
Join us for an exciting adventure as we explore Egypt from Cairo to Aswan to Luxor, including a 5-star, three-night Nile Cruise. The tour starts at $2,275. The price is land only. A special show discount of $2,075 is available if booked through the USTNAI “Travel With A Mission” Program. To qualify for the discount, a $250 per person deposit is required by October 15, 2025. This discount is applicable to USTNAI members, their family, and friends.
Activities
Day 1: Depart on Egypt Air nonstop to Cairo.
Day 2: Arrive in Cairo and take a tour of the city.
Explore the Giza Pyramid Complex, including the Sphinx and The Great Pyramid of King Khufu. Check into your hotel in the evening.
Day 3: After breakfast, fly to Aswan.
Visit the High Dam and Philae Temple. Board the 5-Star Chateau Lafayette Nile Cruise Ship and enjoy a gourmet lunch. Sail the Nile in a traditional Felucca to Elephantine Island and the Aswan Botanical Gardens. The Nubian Village of Gharb Seheyl is an optional side trip for $45 per person. Dinner is on the ship.
Day 4: An optional side trip to Abu Simbel is available for $145 USD per person.
The ship will sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple. Dinner is on the ship, and you will sail to Edfu overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu.
The ship will sail to Luxor, where you will visit the Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 6: Disembark and visit the West Bank (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon).
Visit Karnak Temple on the East Bank. Fly back to Cairo for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo.
This includes the oldest churches and synagogues from the 4th century.
Day 8: See the Khan El Khalili Bazaars and the Citadel.
Conclude with a farewell dinner in Al Azhar Park. Return to the hotel to prepare for your trip home.
Day 9: Wake up at 1 am.
Guests will be transported to the airport for a 6 am flight back to the USA, arriving on the same day.
